first u/s and heartbeat!

We just got back from our u/s - everything looks great! We saw the yolk sak and the little heartbeat pumping away! Heartrate is 129. She confirmed just one (phew - I was having twins dreams). She also has me at 6w 6d, which puts me at an EDD of May 19. Based on my charting and temping, I was at May 21 or 22, so I guess I'm a couple days further along than I thought.
My next appt is October 28 when I'm 10wk 6d. We'll talk about the c/s then. Ahhhhh! So relieved I got to see that little heartbeat. My day is complete.

We had the same thing today and due on the same day! Hearing our little peanut's heartbeat was quite possibly the greatest sound I have ever heard. I got so teary. Having the pictures and hearing the heartbeat made this whole pregnancy thing real. I just can't get over it. So happy I could explode... or maybe that is my lunch blowing me up. (Feel like a stuff sausage right now).
We go back in a week for another ultrasound, then assuming we are all good still, we get transferred to my regular ob/gyn. My DH was amazing to watch. I am sure you experienced the same thing. Seeing the expression on his face seeing and hearing the baby was amazing. I think he is in shock now.
