Are you having to wear maternity clothes yet? My jeans are pretty snug so maternity jeans are much more comfortable. I don't need maternity shirts yet but my normal shirts are tighter fitted so it looks like I have a beer gut.
QOTD? Do you plan of going back to work after LO is here or being a SAHM? I became a SAHM when my DD2 was born so I plan to stay home with this one too.

Any appts. from this week or upcoming appts. you would like to share? I have an u/s with my OB today at noon. Hopefully the SCH is gone.
Have you told everyone yet or still waiting awhile? We are taking our parents out to dinner tomorrow and will tell them then (as long as the u/s looks good). Then we will tell the rest of the family and close friends.
Are you having to wear maternity clothes yet? My pants are starting to get a little tight in the afternoon. I have been tempted to pull out the maternity pants. When I'm home I usually hang out in pj pants or sweats.

I've always wanted to be a SAHM, but it just hasn't worked out.

I tried being a SAHM with my first and did for 4 months, however, we couldn't do it on one income, I couldn't be at the mercy of state-run healthcare B.S., and I missed working terribly. DH wants to be a SAHD, but I don't see that happening.

Any appts. from this week or upcoming appts. you would like to share? I just had my first OB check yesterday, he had no trouble finding baby's HB with the doppler! Now we have to wait until the 17th for our next appointment...seems like forever!
Have you told everyone yet or still waiting awhile? We have told DH's family (we saw them) a few weeks ago. We will tell my parents this weekend, I want to do it in person. Most of our close friends know too.

Have you told everyone yet or still waiting awhile? We have told close family, and a few friends. I also told my boss and a few select ppl at work since I will be out on so many doc appts. We had a loss at 22 weeks, so I'm really not wanting to make a huge announcement or post on facebook until we at LEAST reach that point. Then I'll see how I feel to see if we should post or not. I have mixed feelings on the subject.

They're so much more comfortable! Good news is that I only have to wear a sweatshirt and jeans to work, so I don't have to get a whole bunch of new clothes.
QOTD? Do you plan of going back to work after LO is here or being a SAHM? I'm definitly going back to work. I'm the only who gets a steady paycheck (hubby is self employed so some months are better than others), plus I have the benefits. I don't think I would want to stay at home all the time - just my personality - but part time wouldn't be bad...but it's not an option

Have you told everyone yet or still waiting awhile? A very small amount of people know (my sister and her husband, three friends), but we're waiting until after the NT scan to tell everyone. I'll probably call my mom on the way to work from my appointment to tell her and then I'll come into work to tell my boss. That weekend, we're coming out! I can't wait--in one week, I will no longer have to be in the closet.
Are you having to wear maternity clothes yet? Not really. I bought a few things online and they're sort of like training clothes so I can wear them with my beer gut but I'll also be able to wear them when I'm big and round. I bought a few elastic-waisted items that are awesome. I think the next purchase is going to be maternity jeans.
QOTD? Do you plan of going back to work after LO is here or being a SAHM? Going back to work. While I love living in the Metro DC area, it's so expensive here that there really isn't a question of being a one-income family. Besides, I get a lot of flexibility with my schedule and there's on-site daycare for the LO.

How are we doing this week? Doing okay, overall. I'm still getting morning sickness in the evening and that makes me go to bed around 8-9, but it also helps me feel like I'm still pregnant.

Any appts. from this week or upcoming appts. you would like to share? We had our NT scan this week and just got the call with our results. LO's nasal measurement was 2.0, the neck marker "looked great", and was measuring right on track. The risks for my age were Down's 1:174, Trisomy 13/18 1:310 but after the scan and blood work results the risk went down to 1:3461 and 1:6181!! I'm so relieved we got favorable results.

Are you having to wear maternity clothes yet? OMG yes! I tried wearing regular clothes to work yesterday and felt like I was being strangled. I thought my tops would still fit, but I look like I'm about to pop the buttons off.

DH said I can't pass off looking like I ate too much, he says I look pg already. I think it's all bloat, but I for sure have a bump of such... so luckily 2nd tri is around the corner and I can just "let go".

Have you told everyone yet or still waiting awhile? I told a few friends in my Breastfeeding Moms' Group (DS and I still go sometimes to socialize even though we have weaned) and one other friend. I have zero desire to discuss another loss with anyone, so we are being secretive until after the NT scan.
Are you having to wear maternity clothes yet? Sadly for me, I never stopped wearing maternity clothes since DS except for a few shirts and a couple pair of yoga pants. The rest of my wardrobe, all maternity.
QOTD? Do you plan of going back to work after LO is here or being a SAHM? This is tricky. I was laid off while pregnant with DS, went on tons of interviews and even though I had NEVER been turned down for a job before, I got NOT ONE call back. I honestly think no one wants to hire a pregnant woman, particularily a childcare center setting where they would have to scramble for a replacement to stay in ratio. Because unemployment is lower in MA that the rest of the country, the number of weeks you get is less and I have only a couple weeks left. So now I am again facing the problem of no one wanting to hire a pregnant woman.
