Evening feeds

I know that supply is better in the wee morning hours, which is true for me but at around 5pm, it seems like my LO isn't getting enough...he sucks and sucks for an hour (as opposed to his usual 30 min) and gets so frustrated....I made sure it wasn't anything else that was bothering him like being dry, warm, cranky, etc...the 2 evening feeds are where he has this issue, and i dunno if its by coincidence that those are the times he gets frustrated at the boob and i dont feel as full...what do you all think?

Supply naturally dips in the evening, so that's really normal.  I'd just let him feed as much as he wants then, which will help increase your supply.

i noticed this and started supplementing with milk pumped throughout the day so that LO can sleep better with a full belly.
