so i have high BP and am on semi bedrest. My hubby is a deputy and works overnights.our medical insurance changes saturday morning at 12am new company everything and the copay is sooooo much less. i am having contractions but they could be BH but i don't think so.....today they have started with additional lower back pain. i have my scheduled appointment on monday for my 38 w checkup and my csection is scheduled for oct 11th.
so my question is should i call the doc and try and get in tomorrow before the weekend or just wait? i would rather not waste a ER copay over the weekend just to be sent home....at my 37 w checkup i was 1/2 cm dialated....my parents are in NC and are willing to come and watch my 2 year old DD so i want to give them as much notice as possible...what to do?
Re: what to do?
I would give them a call. My hospital said be sure to call in if you ever get contractions accompanied by back pain, and you are pretty close to your due date so it could be the real thing. Maybe if you got admitted tonight the whole hospital stay would fall under your old insurance policy...?
