I've been reading this board since DH and I found out that we were expecting.  My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.  This was two years ago, and I went through it completely alone.  I met my husband a few months after that.  

I have been so nervous until today.  I went for my first appointment, and I got to see my baby! I heard a heartbeat, and it was amazing.  186 bpm.  It lifted a huge weight off of me.  I know I have several more weeks until I can completely calm down, but this was huge for me.  

I know I haven't commented on anyone's posts, but I have read them.  You all have been a huge inspiration to me.  Thank you so much, and I hope to talk with you all more often.

    Congratulations!  So happy you had a good ultrasound!  It makes worrying go away a little less.
