Why can't DH do one simple thing...obvious vent

Ugh. DH takes leftover dinner to work for lunch most days in Tupperware type containers. And I have asked him on many occasions to just rinse out the containers after lunch so they don't smell when he brings them home. But of course he can never seem to remember to do this. So the containers sit with unrefrigerated with food in them until he packs his lunch for the next day, usually around 8 pm. Then they sit overnight, until I have to clean them out the next day. Ick!

Why is it so damn hard for him to rinse out the fvcking things?! Its so gross. I deal with enough gross baby stuff all day, the last thing I need to do is clean up rotting food. Blech.

vent over.

  • Ew. I would just stop cleaning it up. He'll learn quickly when he was to clean it up himself.

  • DH totally does the same thing! And today I got into my beloved Mustang to take to work and it was disgusting. I am so pissed. My mustang was my car before I even got married and then the baby came and I drive the SUV and DH gets to drive the mustang. I know its not a lexus or anything but he could at least take care of it. I have never seen so much garbage. image

  • My DH does the same thing...then leaves the container in his bag for a day or two. It's gross. When it finally ends up in the sink, I usually just wash it because I don't want to see/smell it. I often will just make him sandwiches because there won't be any tupperware to be cleaned!

  • Are you married to my husband behind my back?  My H does this exact same thing.  Exactly.  With the tupperware.  And I HATE cleaning out cheestronasty stinky tupperware!

  • This is why I purchase the super cheap-o containers, If it happens I refuse to wash molded food off the container so I just toss it. Yup, I know it's bad, I think I am going to do what PP and make sandwiches and put them in baggies.
