What time of day do YOU take the ovulation tests?

So we are using the ovulation tests this month. My last cycle lasted 26 days, so I read that I should start using them on day 9 of this cycle, which I did. I havent had a positive yet, but it seems to be getting darker the last two days. I waitress at night, and usually get home around btwn 10 and 11 and thats the time I test. It says to not test after 8, but is that just a general rule? Just wondering when you girls test? Thanks

I tend to test 2x a day.  Once in the morning with FMU and then aroun 7pm when I am home from work.

Once with FMU, then again after work (after holding it for at least 2.5 hours) around 6pm and rarely, if I'm expecting to O soon but didn't get a + that day, I'll do it just before bed.

I was doing them when I woke up in the morning. One day, I took it in the morning and it was negative and then for some reason I took it again in the afternoon and it was positive. Go figure! It was the Clearblue digitals.  I'm not sure what I am going to do the next time I'm ready to use the OPKs.  I think once I think I am around ovulation, I might do the same thing again. I won't do it 2x daily (AM and PM) for many days because these things are expensive but they are definitely reliable because I got pregnant right off the bat.

Right now we're TTA but when we were TTC the first time, I'd take it around 2pm, sometimes a bit earlier if I had to take an earlier lunch break from work.  T

I took them around 2pm every day, sometimes slightly earlier if I had to take an early lunch, but regardless, it was always sometime between 12pm-2pm. We used the digital ones because I suck at reading the line ones and figuring out which ones were darker.

I test twice a day. Usually in the morning when I wake up, and then again in the late afternoon after I get home from work, or in the evening. I have been known to test 3 times, just to track the line getting darker and fading out more closely. I use the cartridge tests from Dollar Tree. I think they're called New Choice or something.

I do this exactly.  The recommendation is to test in the early afternoon, as the LH starts to surge in the morning (read that somewhere), but when I get a +, I get one morning, noon and night.  I do keep testing, because I'm insane though.

I test with FMU until my lines start to get darker. Then I test basically every time I pee.... almost.

Ditto this. Though I've been known to test if I wake up in the middle of the night... gotten a few +OPKs that way that I wouldn't have otherwise caught.

I use the CBE smiley tests, and have been doing them with FMU for about a year now. I used to do it at 2 PM after holding it for 4 hours - but since I want to be hydrated while I O, I decided to do it in the morning.

I test once around 1-2p and than around 8-9p. Both times holding a urination for about 4 hours. Or not drinking a lot before i test. I have always had two line and one line much darker than the other. Good luck!
