In regards to the peepee teepee's..

LoL, MIL gave them to us at my shower and my first thought was WTH.. Indifferent We tried the little teepee's one day and they are soo hard to keep on a wiggly baby that you are trying to change quickly because either he's fussing or you are scared of being pee'd or poo'd on.

Well one day he was pretty calm so I put on on his lil peen and we were doing fine with it, but then he started to pee and his stream had enough force that the teepee rose up in the air with the pee.  It was so funny!!

    I have heard about those flying up with the pee too. We registered for these instead: https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2574753&fromRegistryNumber=47170816&product_skn=805294

    No one bought them for us and I doubt we'll buy them ourselves, but it's an alternative.

    OMG I totally wondered that when I saw them. I think they are funny and really pretty bothersome moreso than useful but I always wondered if with enough force if it would do that. Thank your LO for me for preforming that experiment!! ;-)

    Funny! I always just threw a washcloth over it if I was afraid of being peed on.

    DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
    DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption

    That is 100% awesome!  I hate to say this, because it means you're in for another mess, but that would be so great if it happened again and the one who wasn't changing your son had the video camera ready to go! Big Smile

    That is hysterical, and I had no idea these even existed!!!! I don't know if I would want to take the time to put it on and off though, and if he goes doesn't it get all wet and squishy?????

    Can you just like put a diaper over it??? Oh man I am in sooo much trouble changing a little boy...

    LOL, someone gave me some of those w/ my DS and I never used them b/c they just seemed silly!  

    I always just either had the diaper ready to go and flipped it over quick or if I had to clean more of a mess, I made sure to put a washcloth or something over it to avoid any sprinkler action!  Never did get peed on!

    Just as an FYI - we always used washcloths with DS.  They work great and are much cheeper.

    Awesome!  We have these too (gift) and I've been wondering if I could achieve that effect, but I can't get him to stop squirming long enough to get one on him.
