Brushing teeth

Eddy's bedtime routine got me thinking. What are you doing to take care of LO's teeth? Louie sprouted her first 2 last week and I want to keep them pearly white and clean.

Thanks!

Re: Brushing teeth

  • I use a finger brush with a small dab of infant toothpaste (which he usually just sucks right off). But you can just do it with water and a washcloth, too.

  • Thanks guys! Is it weird that I'm excited to start brushing her teeth?  It makes me feel like I have a such a big girl.

  • Rowan hates brushing his teeth. He gags and screams if I try :/ So what I do is let him chew on the brush in the bath tub at night and I sneak in a few brushes while he's chewing. And in the morning when I brush my teeth, I give him his brush and we do the same thing. We have toothpaste but I don't use it unless I think of it.

  • DS has a regular toddler toothbrush. Mostly I just let him chew on it himself. Sometimes I'll actually brush for him.
