technical difficulties

I am trying to add a picture to my avatar and sig area (with my ticker).  I went to tiny pic and got a code for the picture.  I added the link with the ticker and clicked "save sig" (which you can barely see).  After it refreshes, my picture link is gone.  Is it going to take a few minutes to take effect, or am I doing something wrong? 
HELP!  TIA

    I can see your avatar picture and two tickers right now. Changes usually take a couple of minutes to show.
