Honeycrisp Apples

I'm eating one right now and it's sooooooooo good.  I love this time of year!

If you've never tried one, you must!  They're the best!  Perfect amount of crispy/sweet/tartness.  Never grainy.

    I love them, too!! But I decided to get Gala ones instead since they were on sale...they're good, but not THAT good.

    Yeah.  I like Gala and Fuji too sometimes, but Honeycrisp are da bomb.

    We went apple picking and that's pretty much all we chose! So good!

    Gala are my all time favorites. Now I want to go eat the last one...but it's for David's lunch tomorrow. Damnit, I should have bought even more extras than I did!

    We just went apple picking too, and we got 1/2 a peck of Honeycrisp, and that's it!  Of course they were devoured in less than a week!  Guess we gotta go back for some more!

    I have some local honeycrips I ordered from fresh direct with low expectations and they are SO GOOD!!  I was going to say I always love fuji as well, but I notice a lot of times they are shipped from New Zealand.  Huh?

    We're actually going apple picking on Saturday if the weather is nice. So excited!Big Smile

    Usually we go up to Dutchess county.  Last year we went to a few farms around Rhinebeck.  I know there are some places on Long Island as well.  You can actually look here, https://www.nyapplecountry.com/pick.php to find them!
