Awful week(s) vent

A few weeks ago, Dh's alternator went up in his car, a few days later, my just stopped working. 

We have now replaced DH's alternator twice, so it is clearly a much worse problem, and the garage just called today, and it turns out my engine just went up, my car is about 4 years old!  (luckily it will possibly be covered by insurance, but it is still a pita)  

I am now spotting for the second time since stopping bcp, I really just wish I would get AF, my hormones are making me feel like crap (sore boobs, crampy, headaches....) plus I don't feel like we even have a chance to ttc until I do. I know you can ovulate before 1st period, but still, I would feel like we have more of a chance once I have had an AF.

So I don't have a car, luckily my mom has been able to take me to work, and DH can pick me up, he has a truck too, but it is very bad on gas.  I am stuck at home for my day off, when I really need to get some shopping done.

And I don't know how I will ever get pregnant, since DD has killed our sex life lately (teething)
