We want a name that is not so common that everyone is sick of it. It has to go with Scott as a middle name. Any other suggestions if you voted that you hate it?
I've always liked the name Whitney for some reason (although I wouldn't use it myself). I don't have an issue with Scott as the middle name since you are honoring someone in your family. I probably wouldn't like it if you were going to call her Whitney Scott all of the time, but I doubt that is going to be the case.
We were torn on girl names too.. our photographer, Felle, suggested to think of our little girl meeting her true love for the first time, introducing herself, saying her name. So we went with Sonia. We call her Nia most of the time... but I could really picture him saying, "What's your name?" "Sonia." It made my heart melt - that's how I knew. A name is an important choice.
