I just finished reading The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom and now have a huge crush on the name Lavinia. Is it awful, or do you like it? I was thinking maybe Lavinia Pearl... ? (I also think the nickname Liv could be used and would be so cute!)
I like it, but I don't think I could use it. I can't say why... was it another character in another book, too? I never read that, but it just strikes me as a character name. Maybe because it is kind of old-fashioned?
I'd say totally use it, though, if you love it. Liv is a cute nn, and Pearl goes great with it.
ETA: I just voted on your BabyNames.com list. I love your girl names! We have very similar taste!
Thanks! I can't believe you made it through all those names. I need to downsize but also want to keep my options open.
Re: Can't get the name Lavinia off my mind...
