Sorry if this is posted often, I looked over the first page and didn't see anything. Anyway, this stroller will not only be my jogging stroller but my reg. stroller too. I don't want a side by side stroller because it's too bulky and I live in a city area.
I was dead set on getting the city select because I LOVE the fact that the kiddies can face each other. But, i'm just not sure about jogging with a 4 wheeled stroller.
I love the Phil and Ted's, and tha'ts what I'm leaning towards. I guess I'm just having a hard time deciding which is more important to me, kiddies facing each other, or 3 wheels. Not that I'm expecting you ladies to decide for me, I guess i'm just wondering if there's any 3 wheeled strollers where kiddies can face each other, and if not, what other options besides Phil and Teds there are.
sorry for the rambling.
Re: rec. your double jogging stroller please
There's no perfect double stroller. I have the BOB Revolution Duallie and I love it for jogging, the zoo, walking the dogs, etc. It's so much easier to push than a P & T's. It fits through a standard doorway, but it's not meant for mall shopping (it's fine for running into the grocery store or Target, since it can accommodate an infant seat). My other stroller is a Peg Perego Skate. It has a jumper seat, but I find that it's easier to toss one kid in the stroller and the other into the Ergo. I'll probably use the second seat more, as the baby gets heavier.
If you do a lot of running, you'll regret not getting a true jogging stroller. Wearing the baby in a carrier and using your current single stroller, might be the best solution for city errands. Checking out craigslist is another good idea.
The peg perego with jump seat, can the seats flip around like facing each other? Thanks for your awesome answer too.

Both kids face you, when the jumper seat is attached. The Skate was my single stroller. I was glad that they came out with a second seat for it, but I wouldn't recommend buying it to be a double, since it's in the same price range as the city select double. You could check out the Kolcraft Optima Tandem. I'm not sure how it handles, but the kids can face one another: https://www.kolcraft.com/products/strollers/tandem/245-contours-optima-tandem
I have the select. Its..... ehhh. I am holding onto it in case of #3, but I would buy it again.
I use the BJ City Mini daily. Folds small and easy, comfy for the kids, not a jogger at all, but I do short 1 min jogs in my walking to up my heart rate and it handles that fine.
The Select is huge and heavy and a PITA to load in and out of the car. Which of course is what I would have to do to use it at the mall. I end up just using my single maclaren at the mall and either use a sling or make DS walk. the select is just too much of a pain in the butt.
