Methodist Stone Oak

Hi all!  Wanted to find out if anyone had a list of OBs that deliver at Methodist Stone Oak?  I've seen on many doctors websites that they deliver at Methodist, but not specifically at Stone Oak. I just found out I'm pregnant, don't have an OB yet as we just moved here about a year ago and in looking at the hospitals, the Methodist Stone Oak location looks pretty awesome.

Would love to get opinions on the hospital experience and any OBs that deliver there.

Ooooo, good question.  I'll need to ask my OB next time I see him...  I delivered the first time at Methodist in the Medical Center, but Stone Oak is SO much closer.

I go to the Institute for Women's Health and see Dr. Crockett. I've been seeing her for almost 2 years. I am very happy with IFWH. At my last appointment I was able to choose which hospital I wanted to deliver at since her practice delivers at both MSO and North Central Baptist... I chose MSO because according to the nurse it is a new hospital and since NCB is the "place to deliver", I have more of a chance of getting more personal attention.

Dr. Gil Villanueva only delivers at Methodist Stone Oak and his office is right across the street from the hospital. I love him as an OB and he delivered my 2nd flawlessly. I never have to wait in his office either, he is very time efficient

Question for you kclg10...I see that the IFWH has A LOT of doctors...do you get to see Dr. Crockett each time you go?  I worry that going to a practice that big, that I'd end up seeing a different doctor each time I go there...which is what I don't want...

I only see Dr Crockett.

I was given a list of dr's who may deliver my baby is she was not available but they are all in the same practice so I am not letting that issue bother me too much!

I go to Stone Oak Womens center and see Dr. Harden. They are very nice and are located at Methodist Stone Oak. All they have to do is walk down a hall and theyre at the hospital~
