Daphne

Anyone want to share their thoughts on Daphne? DH suggested it last night. I like the "feel" of it, but I'm not sure if it sounds too harsh. I have also said it too many times and now it just looks strange and ridiculous.

Our other top contender is Amy. Possibly Amy Jane.

I don't love Daphne, but I think it's cute and interesting, and it's 10000x better than Amy. Like, by a loooooong shot.

And really any word/name can start sounding strange and ridiculous if you say it too many times over.

I love it! It's on my short list even though DH has vetoed it every time I bring it up. LOL. I'm hoping it will grow on him the more I mention it. You never know!

I like it. Daphne evokes images of flowers for me (not sure why though...) and I think it's really pretty. It's also a million times better than Amy which I think is too common. I also think Amy Jane sounds kind of weird and maybe even a little hillbilly-ish.

However, just in case you haven't thought about this yet, some people will associate Daphne with Scooby Do.
