I just randomly saw this name on someone's FB page (friend of a friend - it's an adult woman).  I've never heard it, but I like it.

Sounds like a combination of Evalyn and Evangeline.  But how is it pronounced?  (can't ask the FB friend - she's going through a tough time).  I instinctively pronounced it eh-vah-leen in my head.  But it could easily be eh-vah-line.  Has anyone ever seen/heard this, and do you know how it's pronounced?  A Google search proved fruitless.

A friend of mine named her daughter that. She pronounces it Eh-vah-leen.

I said Evuh (sounds like 'ever' with a new england accent) line.
