Anyone taking Maca root?

I am kind of obsessed with vitamin stores and came across Maca root on the Vitamin Shoppe's website. It claims to increase sex drive, sperm count and enhance fertility for men and women.

Has anyone here tried it? if so, what was your experience?

MH and I both took it...and our sex drives went through the roof.  He affectionatly refers to them as his 'boner pills'. 

Obviously it hasn't gotten me pregnant (started them in May) but it has helped our sex lives tremendously. 

This reminds me, we've been out of them for a while and should go pick some up!

How long were you taking it before the increase in sex drive?

It was almost immediate.  We noticed a difference within 48 hours I think.  It was really quick.  We are usually 2 - 3 times a week sex people.  When we started taking mecca we were having sex 3 times a day?!?  It was nuts. 

Honestly, if you are looking for a little push in the right direction, I would give it a try.  It wasn't that expensive (I think $35 for a bottle).  Try it, if it does nothing for you guys..then don't buy it again.

I'm going to try and find the brand I bought.  I will update you when I find it!

Trust me, we did not keep this up.  I'm an EOD kind of girl.  My fertile window almost kills me....
