Baby Names

Elijah James

ok so we are on about our 10th round of this being "the" name.  if it's a girl, we've had Lucy Annabelle picked out since before DS was born.  Last night DH and I separately had come up with Elijah.   So then we came up with James as the middle name.  DS' name is Asher.  I would use the nicknames Eli or JJ (maybe JJ just at home...I can't help it I love that nickname).  It means "My God is the Lord" which is pretty nice.  What do you think?

Full name would be Elijah James B (rhymes with learning).

Asher Thomas 5.19.10
Miles Edmund 12.29.11
Liam Robert 1.21.14
Baby 4...ok probably another boy here haha 9.20.15

Re: Elijah James

  • I love it! I really want to use the name Elijah but DH hates it. He is a teacher and that name has been ruined for him. Asher and Elijah are great names.

  • I like the names on their own, but not together. I think if you use Elijah as the first name, you need a mn beginning with a harder-sounding consonant.
