Popularity of Rose as a MN

Hi Ladies,

I'm wondering if there is a way to know if Rose is very popular as a middle name? We're considering using it but I'm concerned that it'll be the Lynn of this new generation and sound very dated down the line.

I really do hear this middle name a lot, along with Grace and Mae. I think it's pretty, but if you're concerned about the popularity, well, you're not wrong.

My middle name is Rose. Granted I am 26 but I do not know another friend with Rose as the middle name.

Nuts. This is what I was afraid of. A few years ago a bunch of my friends had babies and all the girls were given the middle name Grace. I was hoping Rose wasn't getting as popular. 

Any suggestions for single syllable, feminine, middle names?

Yes, it is a popular middle name.

Grace is probably #1, but I would guess that Rose is right behind, followed by Renee, Mae, Lynn, and Elizabeth. I wish the SSA released those numbers!

I'll bet that Lynn has declined as a mn recently as people just smoosh a -lyn ending onto the first name.

Rose is currently very popular as a middle name. It probably will be the Lynn of this generation. Grace is the new "Marie."

Love the middle name Kate (or Cate)... also, my mom's middle name is Kay. I have a friend whose middle name is Leigh. I like them all! Rose is too popular though!

Just lurking... But my middle name is Rose (25) and I absolutely hate it to the point that I am legally dropping it. That is all. (I too, don't know anyone irl with rose)
