I don't like it at all. I can't imagine an adult named Keegan.
Well, actually I can. That golfer...Keegan Bradley...I just can't take someone seriously with that name. DH said the same thing and he usually doesn't have an opinion on names.

I know a few adult men named Keegan, and one 3 year old boy so it's fine. Oddly nms. But I've never thought of it as girly. One of the Keegan's I know is quite the ladies man, if someone called him girly he'd side eye that!
Keegan/Keagan and all the various spellings is starting to get popular here. 2010 had 47 for boys and only 3 for girls. Which is a lot considering number 25 on the top boys name came in at 129.
Once upon a time, I had a serious crush on Andrew Keegan. I thought he was a total bad-boy babe and I was into it in a way only a seventh grader can be.
That time has passed and while I take no position on Andrew Keegan today, I can safely say that I thoroughly dislike Keegan as a first name.
It sounds like someone who heavily smokes pot well into an age that makes every other normal functioning person in society uncomfortable.

This.
I like it! Sounds like a good Irish name.
