DH keeps suggesting names that end in -er or -or (such as Piper and Connor). I am worried that they will not sound right with our last name which is similar to Carter. What do you think?
Overall, I don't like the sound of the double -er endings. Maybe you could find an exception, but I'm not a fan. Our ln ends with a y, and I don't like any y, ie, ee, etc... ending names. Just too rhymey for me!
I have an -er last name, and don't love the -er, -er sounds together either.

....OR NOT. Pregnant 12/2018 despite birth control pills Here we go again... Due 8/26/19!
I guess with a two syllable first name like Piper or Connor then it does sound a little rhymey with the last name Carter. But, I don't see any problem with a 3 syllable name ending in -or, like Eleanor.
I totally agree.
First birth: Natural (med-free) Second birth: Hell, no. Epidural all the way.
Yeah....you're going to have to point out that Piper Carter isn't a good name, and point him in the direction of the thousands of names that don't end in --er.
