Not William. NOT Billy. Just Will. Full name would be Will Roman Lastname. Thoughts and opinions?

It works for me. Will is a "grown-up" enough nickname to stand on its own.

I love Roman!

I'm not a huge fan of Will. William or Billy. It seems a little funny that it would be JUST Will, but not terrible

I could work, although I personally prefer it as a nn to William to something similar. BUT, as pp stated, it is "grown up" enough to stand on it's own.

Prefer the full William with Will as a nn. But as a standalone it's not awful -- it just feels a bit incomplete. And I think everyone will assume he's a William.

I prefer Will as a NN than Billy but I wouldn't use it as a stand alone name.
