Hello everyone!  I am new to TheBump, but my DH and I are in the process of TTC our first child and I thought signing up for the website would be really helpful.

I'm excited for this new phase of our lives, but at the same time I think part of me is scared about the new responsibilities, how to afford a baby, how I will ever have energy or the ability to do the same things we do now.... is this normal? 

 So anyways, hello!

Its so exciting and I send you lots of sticky baby dust I love this website, the women are great here (be careful there can be a few nasties though).  I'm going to say that what you're feeling is totally normal. I'm still trying to answer those questions myself haha. Do some research on cheaper alternatives and things like that for money costs. Babies are expensive but they are worth so much more than the pennies we spend on them.

I hope you guys conceive easily and I look forward to seeing you around the different boards

hi there, I'm in the same boat as you.  I'm both excited and nervous.  TTC our first child, worrying about all that lies ahead including finances, etc.  You are normal, I'm going thru it too and glad to see I'm not alone!
