Doctor agrees a second PAP and HPV testing are needed, so I scheduled those for next Tuesday. And then wait some more I guess.

Thanks to all of you who offered words of support and shared your stories yesterday. I've never had an "abnormal" test of any kind and it jarred me to see that on my results, but you all made me feel so much better and just put things in perspective.

I didn't see yesterday but wanted to let you know that I had several abnormal PAPs in the past.  All were resolved fairly simply and easily, and I hope your case is the same.

Saying prayers for you!  I've had a couple abnormal paps and it does freak you out.  Given your family history, I would be a mess.

I've only had one abnormal PAP, but like you, it scared the beejeebus out of me. I'll be thinking about you and wishing for the best second test results.

(((HUGS))) girl. My sister went through the same thing. It was in fact abnormal cells in hee case, but after going through the unfun procedures, she now has a clean bill of health.
