We went to DD's new pedi office this morning. They have a fun tradition where all the kids get to make a handprint with paint on the walls, and under it you write their name and birthday. It is so cute, until you read some of the names. I thought of this board and wrote down the best ones on my phone so I'd remember- enjoy.

I was an underwriter until recently and got an application for a Brain.  It was written several different places and there was a very legible signature.  It blew my mind.

I worked in a clothing store and had a woman come through my line with 20 different things that said "Princess" on them.  I must have had a questioning expression on my face because she pointed to one item and said "My daughter's name is that."  Not - "That's my daughter's name" - "My daughter's name is that."  I wish I could say she had an accent and English wasn't her first language but no, she just didn't have a great grasp of sentance structure...or child-naming.

Nah, the overwhelmingly vast majority were normal and nice names. Anna, Kayla, George, Michelle, Michael, etc. The above just stood out.

Oprah has a good excuse though. Her name was supposed to be Orpah, which is a biblical name but was misspelled on her birth certificate.

Jaiden I'm used to by this point. I've actually met a Venus, Golden and Jayke.  The rest are horrible.
