"If you can do it on your own? How stupid. Thing happen, yes, but you do not start a child's life off by giving it a crap father and hoping for the best. You don't tie an innocent baby to that forever. You abort, and move on. Well, smart people do anyway." -another bumpie
 
If you have a child and are a single parent are you stupid? Are you giving that child a terrible life?

    I'm almost at a loss for words?? Wait no i'm NOT.....

    I am a single mom of 3 not by my own choice but it just happened that way. I was planning on getting married to the father of my children but, things happened and I moved on. Is it a struggle HELL YES, every dam day!

    Do my children suffer from our circumstances NO! I work very hard and provide a good life for my kids. They are very well taken care of and are all very smart. Heck my 5 y/o who just started Kindergarten 4 weeks ago can already spell "red" "blue" "orange" and write his name almost perfectly. I will say we have only been on our own for 7 months. But I don't consider my self stupid. I by far can say that it was the SMARTEST choice I made to leave.

    I can't stand when people group all "single moms" into one catergory!

    Would I judge the OP for choosing abortion? No.

    Does that mean I think babies with single parents are doomed? No. 

    She needs to be the one to make that decision. If she doesn't thing she can be a great mom maybe it's for the best. I don't know that though, I'm not her. 

    Ultimately no one can really make a good suggestion for her, hopefully she can be completely honest with herself and make a good decision. Whatever that is.
