At 9 months. At his 9 month appt. the Pedi said the only food off-limits until 1 year was honey so we tried eggs that week. I haven't tried peanut butter yet, though.

We haven't given DD any egg at all, but it's because she's allergic to them, we found out when we had her tested after she had some reactions to different foods.
How did you know when you could start giving them "people food." My little girl is still just on baby food. I am so nervous about this whole food thing. I don't want to do anything wrong. I keep looking for that pincher grab but haven't really seen it yet. She can use a sippy cup though and has two teeth.

Have you tried puffs? Or melts? Or anything else similar?
Jay did fine with all of those and we slowly started introducing more after that. He does great at getting things into his mouth on his own and we have been doing stage three foods for a while. He also have a bunch of teeth and is great at chewing.
She has had eggs 3 or 4 times. Yesterday for breakfast she fed herself an omlet I made her. I have been giving her eggs for about a month now. She really enjoys them especially since she can pick it up and feed it to herself. I have been giving her people food from day one.
Do you think it is okay to try puffs even if she hasn't done the pincher grab. See, I am crazy worried about this stuff. I get so many different opinions from my family. My MIL thinks I started her too early even on baby food.
