I think its perfectly fine to do that, I have heard of others having two mn's. I actually considered it with our dd because I really wanted her to have my grandma's middle name but also felt like we should have one of the middle names be Faith because we had trusted in God to bring this precious baby girl to us for so long...in the end we settle on my grandma's name only but I think it would have sounded nice...its all in what you prefer!
Its definitley all what you prefer, like PP said. I don't think it will be as tough as say, having two last names. Sometimes that can be confusing. If you like it, go for it!
Using two middle names is a fairly common practice in England. I think some really neat name combinations can take place this way. I like it and kind of wish I had done it with all of my kids.
I currently have two middle names. The only thing I'd say is that many states do not recognize 2 middle names, so on official forms, you have to choose one. I have 2 names with Social Security, but my driver's license and official MA documents only have 1.
We chose two middle names each for our boy and girl fn choices. We're big on family names so two middle names will cover the important people in case we don't have a second child of the same gender.
Aiden Joseph Anthony is our boy name - (the -den spelling is for my dad, Dennis. Joseph is my FIL and Anthony was DH's grandfather)
Gioia Christine Elisabeth is our girl name - (Christine is my mom. My best friend is Lisa and my SIL is Elizabeth so we're honoring two special people with one name)

Our son does, Holdyn Richard Ray (Richard for my dad, Ray for DH Grandpa). The pro for him is that both of the middle names start with the same letter. This way he can just use R as a middle initial, if he wants.
If my husband wasnt against it I would consider it for my next child. We used his fathers name for DS middle name and I would really like to use my father or late mothers name for our next but I dont like either of their names.

My DH has two middle names. He finds it somewhat annoying when filling out paperwork and forms but it's not a huge deal.
