H's name picks...

Vincent, Victor/Viktor, Hawk, Fox.

I don't like the first two. At all. But I haven't had the heart to give him a solid 'no' on them because last pregnancy he didn't give me ANY name suggestions and I don't want him to feel like I'm dismissing everything he likes. I can see Hawk as a middle name, but not a first name.... and Fox is a no.

We both like names that are not heard often (DS is Lucian), and he likes nature names. If anyone has suggestions I can give him that follow his current preferences, please share!

Those last two (Hawk, Fox) are a definite no-no. I don't care for nature names for boys anyway though. I've never cared for the name Vincent myself, but I think Victor/Viktor is okay. Here are my suggestions:

While I don't generally associate it as a nature name, I know it can be considered a naturey name so I will suggest my favorite Reed.

Vincent is also my H's pick. It is the only decent name he has suggested. I like it!

Really? You don't like Vincent or Victor? They seem right up your alley. Also, they're great names.

I agree with you on Hawk and Fox. I wouldn't be down with that, either. But Lucian and Vincent is probably the best potential sibset I've heard in a long time. And Vin/Vinny/Vince are all great nicknames.

If it were me, I'd give the names a second to grow on me. Especially if my H really liked them.
