I posted a while back how E still isn't jumping and it hasn't changed. At her 6 month appointment the doctor said, again, "ohh she'll be jumping any day! Her legs are so strong!". I'm not worried about it, I know some babies just don't go through the jumping phase, but I was really excited to get some cute video of her going crazy in her jumperoo. Owell.
Any other LOs out there that aren't jumpers?
Re: She's still not jumping!
My niece is 8 weeks older than DS1 and when they were like 8 & 10 months old I put DS1 in her exersaucer and he started jumping like a maniac. My SIL was like 'omg I didn't even know that thing bounced!' My niece never jumped in any of her stuff, like the doorway jumper, exersaucer, etc...but she's a perfectly healthy 3 yr old now who runs and jumps just as well as DS1.
She was a late walker, like 17 months, but I don't think that had anything to do with jumping.
I know you said you weren't worried but I just wanted to let you know that some kids just don't do it.
My son will turn 6 months in a few days and he doesn't jump. He stands, LOVES to stand but has no interest in jumping. When in the Johnny Jump Up, he just stands and tries to eat the straps. I think maybe some kids are just more into it than others!
