i am going to be shopping for DS for fall/winter. his 6 month stuff make him look like he is wearing capris LOL
at his 6 month appointment he was 27 1/2 inches long so at almost 8 months we are probably at 8 1/2 inches. anyways we mainly wear carters but their 9 months say they go up to 28 1/2 inches but there 12 months look so big
what are you doing? should i just buy 12 months so it lasts longer and deal with the biggness?
Re: what sizes are you buying?
DS is almost 23 lbs and 30 inches long, and he is comfortably in 12 month clothing now. He's too tall for some of his sleepers, so we've thrown a couple 18 month ones into the mix, too.
DS is just over 6 months, weighs 20 lbs and is 29.5 inches tall.
We gave up on onesies. By the time I find one that fits his length, the girth is way too big.
We buy him separates now (they seem to run bigger than onesies). He wears 6-9 month pants and shirts from Carters, Old Navy, Children's Place and Crazy 8s.
ETA: I forgot pjs. We have to get 12 month sleepers for him. The 6-9 month sizes are too short.

Bug is right now 21 lbs and 29.5 inches. He's allll torso though. He's currently in 12 months pants, 18 month shirts, and 18 month sleepers.
DD is 6.5m and was 28.5 inches and 19.5 lbs a week ago. I'm buying 12-18 in Old Navy and Gap for winter, and 12 in Carter's. She's fully filling out Carter's 9m stuff now and also fills out Gap and ON 6-12 pretty well...I was amazed a couple days ago when I put a Gap 6-12 l/s onesie on her and the sleeves were short.
I feel like I waste so many clothes because I wait too long to put her in them thinking they'll be too big. Errrg!
