I've used L'Oreal Beauty Tubes mascara for several years now. I love that it doesn't flake or clump (I seem extremely prone to raccoon eyes) and is super easy to remove with water.
Buuuuut...I have long eyelashes, so this lengthening mascara is really not what I need. What I want is a thickening mascara which doesn't smudge easily or flake. So far I've had people recommend:
* L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes
* Cover Girl Lash Blast
Anyone tried either of these, or have any other recommendations? I'd prefer drugstore brands, partly because makeup is $$$ here (either of the above will cost $25-$30), and partly because I don't have ready access to any premium brands where I live.
Re: can we talk makeup?
I LOVE LOVE Cover girl Lash Blast. My favorite is the purple one which is the fusion, lengthens + volume. But I think you will need the orange one which is just for volume. I stock up on it when its on sale at the drugstore.
My other favorite is by Mary Kay which my SIL sells. Not sure of the name right now but it works really really well.
Another vote for Maybelline Full & Soft. I've been on a mascara hunt too...also on my list of ones to try are the two you listed (Lash Blast and Million). I also heard good things about Rimmel Sexy Curves.
