Bedsharing ended before I was ready. :(

My toddler has shown some interest in sleeping in his own room (based on the fact that his dad bought some cool big kid sheets/toys). Last night he slept all night in his room for the first time. Even put himself to sleep.

My DH is so happy. I am not. lol.

  • Don't cry yet. My youngest left my room at 9 months or so and has been co-sleeping full time again for 6 months. I love co-sleeping, so I was really sad when my bed was empty of children.

    Ahh, I can dream!

My youngest cosleeps part time-she sleeps in her own crib from 7-4, and I get to take her in bed to give her the 4am bottle. My DH is not on board with cosleeping anymore, so that's the most I can get. :(

I'm secretly hoping my oldest stops STTN so I can bribe DH to let him sleep in our bed for part of the night. :)

  • Oh gosh, I am so not ready for my daughter to stop sleeping with us. She's still young, but is already seeming to prefer her crib to our bed. My husband snores and talks in his sleep (lol) so I think it's motivating her to make the transition waaaaay before I am ready. :'-(
