Sunday night I dreamed twice that the baby wasn't growing right and another dream that I had some kind of serious illness. Last night it was that my husband was divorcing me. I don't feel THAT worried in my waking life about the baby, and I am def. not worried about my husband. But obviously I am a little more on edge than I thought. Maybe its bc of my ultrasound on Thursday. Its just an elective to find out the gender, but its been so long since I have seen the baby. AAAAHHHH!
Re: horrible dreams
I'm with you, I've been having some of the worst dreams. I had one the other night that haunted me for the next couple days... it was a really vivid detailed dream about my DH cheating on me (which he would never do). But it wasn't fun to say the least, in the dream it FELT very real.
Not to mention I've been having really obscure/weird dreams. I wonder how my brain comes up with this stuff sometimes. But I definitely think it's a pregnancy thing, I hear the hormones mess with your dreams quite a bit.
Anyway, I hope they stop being so negative and gross and that you have good restful sleep. GL!
I had a dream last night that DS got eaten by a dolphin on a water slide at Seseame Place.
My dreams continue to get more strange by the day, but they are never about the new baby, always about DS or DH.
All weekend, I had various dreams about DH getting fired from his job in lots of interesting ways.
Me too! I'd say the dreams are my #1 pregnancy symptom in the 2nd trimester. I had a really, REALLY awful one that I was miscarrying and blood was everywhere... and I've dreamed that I cheated on my husband and then he found out and it was horrible. I keep waking up crying. I'm also having good ones, but they're super vivid... like, trippy.
The Bump has a Q/A article on pregnancy dreams that explained them for me, here's the link: https://pregnant.thebump.com/pregnancy/second-trimester/qa/weird-pregnancy-dreams.aspx
Sweet dreams!
