Does anyone know how to use ERGO baby carrier?

Hi all, I got the ERGO baby carrier for LO with the infant "heart 2 heart" insert and tried to use it today and it was super confusing and I couldn't figure out how to make LO and the insert fit into the main ERGO carrier. hass anyone used it and can explain please. BTW: my baby's 2 weeks old... don't know if that matters. Thank you!

I also have the Ergo, I use a rolled up blanket instead of the insert. I roll up the blanket and place it in the bottom. Also have you tried you tube for videos also the ladies on AP can help.

I just did it exactly like the instructions that came with the insert. The first time takes a little longer b/c you need to adjust the straps. First I would make the hip strap fit you. Have all the other straps as loose as they get. Have your DH help you tighten them once you have the insert in.

I found this really helpful. I like to keep the carrier a little loose and tighten after the baby is in and I have the shoulder strap snapped. Hope this helps.

I followed the instructions that came with the Ergo/Insert and like pp I found it helpful to tighten straps after baby was in. Additionally, once baby was in and straps were adjusted I reposition her by lifting up on her bottom and the bottom of the insert. For what it's worth, the effort in figuring out the Ergo has been totally worth it. I LOVE my Ergo.
