Lupus and Pregnancy

Hello ladies!

My husband and I are planning to start TTC in roughly one year. I am in the process of going into "remission" from active lupus nephritis. My doctor is happy with my progress and believes that pregnancy is a real possibility.

 Just wanted to know if there were any other Lupus patients who have successfully concieved. What were your experiences?  TIA!

    I have systemic lupus, but was no where near remission when I had an 'oopsie'. My son was born at 33 weeks, I had gestational diabetes and developed severe pre-eclampsia. Lupus carries a higher risk of both. But if you are heading towards remission, you may be fine. Talk to your doctor though.

    Hi I have Lupus and APS and currently on my first round of IVF. I just wanted to let you know that many people with Lupus have healthy babies everyday. Just take one step at a time and dont give up hope.
