April 2012 Moms

Heartbeat tomorrow!

Tomorrow is my 2nd appointment, and we are supposed to hear the heartbeat!! I'm hoping being that I'll be just 2 days away from 12 weeks, they'll be able to easily find it :)

I'm so jealous of all the mamas that have already heard it or even had ultrasounds!  I won't get an ultrasound until around 16-20 weeks.. Seems like forever!

Anyway, I'm excited and nervous for tomorrow, so I just wanted to share.  I'm really hoping everything goes perfectly!

Re: Heartbeat tomorrow!

  • I get to hear the heartbeat on Wednesday for the first time, and I am not sure when I will get my first ultrasound!

I hope everything goes well tomorrow for you! Can't wait to hear an update!

  • Good luck tomorrow! I go on wednesday to hear the heartbeat but I'll only be 10 and a half weeks, so I really nervous they wont be able to find it. We did get to do an early ultrasound at 6 weeks because I had a miscarriage in March, so we saw the babies heartbeat then, but otherwise the doctor would have made us wait until 16 weeks for the first ultrasound. Let us know how it goes!

  • Thank you all!!  Ahh, I have to try to go to bed now, so I don't get too excited and become unable to sleep! ;)

  • I heard it a week ago and it was SO much fun! GL!
    due april 10th :))
  • I just heard the heartbeat yesterday. The nurse had trouble b/c the baby is so small at 12 weeks and moving around in there so don't be scared if they can't find it right away. The Dr. came in and found it quickly. It sounded like galloping horses and was strong. So cool!  This is the third time I've heard it (6, 9.5, and 12 weeks) and I've had 3 Ultrasounds.  The baby has arms and legs and finally looks like a real baby ...just really small! :)   Good Luck!!! :)
