anyone use CHP+?

We privately pay for insurance and I just found out that it covers almost nothing for maternity until we've met the deductible ($5000) and then the co-insurance is only 50% till we hit almost $20,000.  This is not going to work.  I was hoping to hear back about a great job by now but haven't so it's time to explore insurance options. 

 We're low income so I qualify for CHP+ and I'm wondering if anyone has any experiences to share?

When I was getting ready to apply for CHP+ I was told to apply for medicaid instead, that way everything that had to do with me and my son was paid for no co- pays or anything before my son was born and currently..

I had to get CHP+ because my husband has just gotten a new job and was in the 90 day starters period. I'm still on it because everything is covered and we really can't afford private health insurance for a soon to be family of 5. Go to https://www.cchp.org/ and you can read all about it. All prenatal care and hospital stay is covered up to 60 days after birth. Your LO is covered for that period of time too.
