We live in a "desert-like" climate so when I put DS down to sleep the house is still pretty warm but in the morning the house is cooling off too much and he is cold. In the summer time I was dressing him in cotton short sleeve pjs with no socks (no blankets) Right now I have put on his chamois crib sheet and went to cotton long sleeve pjs but he woke up this morning cold. I think he would be too hot initially in fleece pjs since it is still in the 70/80's when its time for bed.
DD was almost a year when it started getting cold so I felt comfortable putting a blanket in her crib. I am not too sure if this is the "safe age" to put in a blanket even though he is scooting, pulling to stand, and beginning to cruise around the furniture/walk with my hands he is still almost 7 months old.
Those of you who live in a similar environment what are you dressing LO in?
note: I could heat the house but his room is the largest and always the coldest/hottest in the house. We put on the heat and our room and DD's room becomes boiling hot while his room is moderate.

Would your LO tolerate a Sleep Sack? We use those on DD now that it is getting colder and her room seems to get the coldest. We have a cotton one and a fleece one for the winter.
Same here...and DD's room is the hottest in summer/coldest in winter.
