Teething

DS has been teething for months now, but a tooth finally started to break through the gums this weekend. I'm just wondering, how long does it usually take the tooth to fully break through? How long does it usually cause pain? He seems miserable (also getting over a cold) and is not sleeping well.

    It has always seemed like my babies have screamed and cried the most before I see a tooth coming through...So annoying by the way.  I have no idea how long it takes for a tooth to fully break through but it seems like for-ever.  Hang in there
    Dx with severe endometriosis. DS#1 conceived with Met and TI. TTC#2 for 2.5 yrs. Dx 2nd IF. 4 clomid cycles, 2 IUIs, Finally IVF#1 w/ICSI worked for us! twins born 35w3d. Unexpected total hysterectomy 6/11. Now on the HRT train.

    It's never the same.

    Sometimes it's taken the girls 2 days for a tooth to break through, or weeks.  B's gums have been BULGING with her back 2 molars for over 4 weeks.  It's been AWFUL.

    Thanks, that's kind of what I figured. I just feel so bad for him :(
