Feeding help!

I am mostly a lurker that enjoys reading your comments. I need help! This feeding thing is confusing. I have been making DS purees since he was 5 1/2 months. When do I start adding textures and feeding him yogurt? When is it okay to introduce meats? I tried giving him so mum-mums and they made him so constipated. I appreciate all your help.

At 6 months, our pedi cleared us to try feeding him whatever we wanted (besides peanut butter, honey and egg whites). You could always try a thicker texture to see how he handles it. It takes them a little bit to get used to it, so don't be discouraged if he doesn't take to it right away. How old is your DS?

 Hi. Thanks for your response. He is going to be 7 months on Saturday.

Do you do Baby mum mums or puffs yet? Once DD got the hang of those I started on modified BLW- noddles, rice, small pieces of veggies, etc. I also use stage 3 baby foods.
