My husband is stuck on the name Jace-I'm still on the fence. We will find out this Friday if it's a boy or a girl. We are decided on the girl's name: Gianna Lena (Lena is my grandmother's name-she is fantastic!). Thoughts on our boy's name or suggestions.
1. Jace Matteo
2. Gavin Jace
3. Jace Diego
P.S. How do you do a poll? It wasn't working for me.
Thanks!

Re: Boy name
Yay! Another Gianna coming into the world!!
I do not like Jace at all. Besides the Teen Mom connection, it's not a real name. It's at most, a nickname for Jason. Would you consider naming your son Jason and calling him Jace to your heart's content? Everytime I have heard Jace as a child's name, I always think (and hope) I'm hearing Chase.
HA! Is it that bad? I've never watched it. Do you think people will automatically reference Teen Mom if we choose the name Jace. I personally know the name from a kid a went to school with-nice guy.
You see, I like all the traditional Italian and Irish names. My husband hasn't really given any input for a boy's name. He likes Owen, but I don't want to use this because every day I feel like I hear about someone naming their kid Owen. I'm glad we are decided on a girl?s name, but I have sneaky suspicion that it's going to be a boy.
.Maybe not most people, but since she's constantly getting arrested for drugs and stuff, I think a decent number of people would make that association. Same goes for Bentley (another son of a Teen Mom).
I really like Irish-esque names, too. How about any of these:
Ian
Liam
Malcolm
Declan
Seamus (SHAY-mus)
Shea
Patrick
Collin
Conner

DH and I are both Italian (well, he's half) and we LOVE Italian names but the ones we like the most just wouldn't fly here in the US -
Enzo, Fabrizio, Andrea (On-DRAY-uh), Niccolo, etc...
The only one we're considering is Domenico (we'd probably call him Dominic or Nico).
I like Jace.
Voted for the first one.
I never made the association.
I prefer it spelled Jayce though. I've never met someone with this as a fn but a student of mine had it as a mn.
