Oakbrook IL, What to do?

I am surprising my husband and taking him to OAkbrook to see a play for his birthday. I want to take him to do something 'fun' and something for him!

 

Does anyone have any ideas or recomendations?

    There are a lot of good restaurants in the area - Benihanna is kind of food and fun. Also the Westin in Lombard (by Yorktown) has a Harry Caray's. 

    Just be warned there is God awful construction right around the Oak Brook mall & on 22nd.

    Great restaurants in the mall as well - Wildfire, The Reel Club, Mon Ami Gabi, Maggiano's, etc.  You can also go to Tuscany right across the street on 22nd Street.  There is also a Ditkas and a J Alexanders close by.
