So my DS will be 14 months soon. Just trying to find some activities to do with him during the morning hours (sometimes it feels like forever before his nap). I wouldn't mind signing up for some community ed classes, but I don't have the same days off every week so I wouldn't be able to make every class. Any ideas? I live in the Lakeville/Apple Valley area. Oh, and I've thought about story time at the library, but I just don't know if he would sit still. We usually only get about 3 pages of a book read at a time because he can't sit for that long.

Indoor playgrounds
MN Zoo membership - they have a large amount of indoor exhibits
Children's Museum membership - we are getting one in November
A local indoor pool

I really suggest story time. Ours has 20 minutes of reading, sometimes LO will sit other times she runs around, but it's the same for all the kids. And then it's 5-10 minutes or songs followed by play time.
The zoo is also a good one.
I would suggest signing up for Macaroni Kid, they have great suggestions and have a Lakeville/Apple Valley one.
