I am not crazy about Penny. Can you think of another nickname for Penelope? 

I LOVE the full name and plan on using it 75% of the time but also want a cute NN option.

ETA: Also, if it's a NN that you're using as Penelope's mom, keep in mind that many times parents come up with pet names that have nothing to do with the name. If you plan on calling her Penelope, call her that, but I'm sure something like Sugar Bear or Beanie or something else will develop as you get to know her

This is one of my all-time favorite names!!! I wanted to do Penelope, but call her Ellie (we had a boy though). The other nns are super cute too.

I know a four year old named Penelope who goes by Ellie.

A really close friend in highschool was Penelope, called Nell.  I hated Nellie, though- it reminded me of Nessie the Loch Ness Monster!
