Body pillow suggestion

I'm 16 weeks pregnant with twins and already starting to feel some discomfort sleeping.  I've started looking at body pillows and wondered if you all had any suggestions of ones that have worked/are working for you.  One concern I have is the size.  My husband and I have a queen bed, not a king, so I don't want to push him out :)  Thanks!

Re: Body pillow suggestion

  • I got a Snoogle and Loved it!!!  We also had a queen bed and it was fine....my husband is a very tall, bigger guy too. I didnt want to give it up after they were born! Embarrassed

  • I bought a huge pregnancy body pillow that i spent TONS on and never use it. Whats been best for me is a tummy boppy pillow that i put under my stomach and then I put a pillow behind my back and one between my legs. It seems a bunch of smaller pillows is what does the trick...atleast for me :)

  • I loved the Snoogle but it gets very mixed reviews.  Some people love it and some people hate it.  I loved it so much that I didn't want to give it up after kids were born.  H made me because he said he was tired of having another person in bed with us!

  • I had a boppy pregnancy pillow that was given to me by a friend.  I loved it esp. since it didn't cost me a thing!
  • I had a Snoogle and body pillow and personally I prefer my $10 body pillow over the $60 Snoogle.
  • I've been using just a cheap body pillow. I find it works great. I wanted to start out with something cheap instead of going straight for the expensive pillows. I LOVE it and it works great!

  • I'm 18 weeks pregnant with twins and also quite restless at night. DH and I are also in a queen size bed (which seemed fine before) but now I just need more room to stretch out. We have been seriously looking at King beds (adjustable, so I can use it to sit up for breastfeeding). Anyway, about the pillow...I almost bought a $60 pillow at Target, then walked over a few aisles and found a body pillow for $10. I bought a plush cover for it (for another $10) So for $20 I have a body pillow that I love. I'd give the cheaper route a shot first, you might like it more. Good luck!

  • I just had a regular cheapie body pillow and that was fine for me. I didn't like the size of some of the pregnancy pillows and couldn't imagine having to maneuver one when getting up to use the bathroom 100 times a night.

  • I have the boppy pregnancy pillow, I like it but not as much as my body pillow. I actually like just a general body pillow that I bought at Wal-Mart better.
