Why do I smell different?

This probably seems like a funny question, but the past couple of days, I've noticed I smell differently "down there."  (dh has noticed it too)  I've had yeast infections before, but this is different.  Not necessarily a bad smell, just kind of musty.  Does that have anything to do with labor being so near?  Or is it just my imagination?

Hmmm maybe you are just having increased discharge.  However, if it is stong enough of a change for DH to notice too I would call and ask.  Not all bacteria/fungal infections make you itch or have problems but are harmful and could be making the smell.  I would def run it by your doc!

no, I don't think it has to do with labor. I think it is the increase in discharge. I have noticed the same thing.

It's normal, probably just hormone changes or discharge changes.

My also very pregnant BFF and I were comparing changes in scent the other day. I said mine smelled like a bakery and she said hers smelled like the butcher block. Ha!

All my body odors smell different to me and have since 1st tri.  I was talking with a friend of mine who's got an 8 month old and her dh is a doctor.  She said the hormones give us this wonderful effect.  I was also warned that if I think it's bad now...wait til after baby's born and I start breastfeeding - apparently that's when your BO will be really outta control.  Something to look forward to!
