I've been looking for an idea for somewhere to host our family and friends that is indoors. A couple ideas I've come across are bounce houses and Brackenridge but I'm worried it might be cold out and she's too young to enjoy a bounce house.
When in December? Early December it's not always cold. Heck the past few Christmases I've been in jeans and a short sleeved top. So you may be fine outside.
A friend of mine did her daughter's first birthday at the zoo. Another did her son's at Minitown. There is a new play place on 1604 but the name of it escapes me at the moment. It had inflatables, but I believe it has things for younger children/toddlers too. It's in the shopping center that has a karate place, Ivy Rooftop, a sushi restaurant, and I think the nearest street is Lockhill-Selma.
Re: Ideas for 1st BDay location in December?
Have you considerd a resturant that has a playground? You could have the party on the patio if it is nice out, or take it inside if necessary.
Also, some churches will rent their fellowsip hall for parties.
